This was recorded in the interior of a truck stop, somewhere on the road in oklahoma. General store ambiance can be heard throughout, but the real highlight is the electronic door chime that seems to happen intermittently, when someone enters or exits the store.

A very old lift in järve hospital in tallinn, estonia i visited. The lift doors wind themselves up before actually opening. The bell is pretty ald and dead as well. Recorded with soundproffessionals ms-bmc3 binaural microphones with zoom h1 recorder.

The doorbell in my apartment is so loud and obnoxious i decided to share my pain with the rest of the world, lol. In all seriousness, hopefully someone finds it useful for their production. The first sample is the purest, with the last two i *attempted* some dampening, but the difference is really inaudible. Recorded with zoom h6 (xy capsule), minimal processing done (loudness normalization, slight panning rebalance, hi-pass @ 40hz).

I initially made two recordings, i will likely make more later. This is a modern "cheap" recreation doorbell, as they are hard to find these days. This one is overdone by experimenting with too many vst filters. . . ^-(. . . Urban ambience with local residents talking, some moderate, yet constant traffic, a plane at the end and featuring the sound of love. Includes people talking in the background, some distant cars, a church bell, one or two planes about to land, people opening and closing the back door. As special appearance, there is someone having a joyful time (or -less probable- screaming of pain repeatedly) throughout the whole lenght of the recording. Sound of balinese chimes recorded with tascam dr-60 d mkii linear recorder and pair of akg p120 electret condenser microphones on a stagg smc3 3m xlr cable. Knobs of sensitivity were turned in position of highest sensitivity. Microphones were configured as stereo pair and placed face to face in front of each other in distance of 75cm. Microphones placed on stands. Chimes was held in the hand between mics along the way of sight of them, with smallest bell on the side of right microphone. Recorded afternoon in a bedroom with closed door and windows in a house next to high street. Recorded in 96khz and 24bit. Trimmed and normalized in flstudio edison. Normalization made sample 32bit.
